Hi there!

I’m Mike, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. If you’re looking for something truly special—whether it’s a fine art-style portrait that captures personality and emotion, a family session, a senior portrait, or even the thrill of sports photography—you’re in the right place. I’m a Master Accredited photographer, now transitioning to life in beautiful Evesham in the UK, and I’d love to create something meaningful for you.

A Little About Me

I’m 68 years young (even if my knees sometimes tell me otherwise!) and happily married to the most wonderful woman. Together, we’ve raised two amazing sons, welcomed a lovely daughter-in-law into the family, and now we’re completely smitten with our two grandsons—Archie, who’s a lively 2½-year-old, and tiny Tristan, just 10 weeks old.

For many years, I was based in sunny Barbados, but I’m now making the move back to the UK. Why? Because family means everything to me. I want to be close enough to watch my grandchildren grow, share in their milestones, and soak up every precious moment with them.

Of course, relocating means starting fresh—building new client relationships, finding the perfect studios and printing partners, and setting up a new rhythm of work. But honestly, I see it as an exciting new chapter. I’ve learned that everything falls into place with time and care.

Oh, and I can’t forget to mention my two rescue pups with the biggest personalities! They’re still in Barbados for now, but they’ll be joining me (and my wife) once we’re all settled in.

So, how did I end up behind the camera?

Well, my journey into photography hasn’t exactly been a straight line. I actually started out in IT way back in 1977—so yes, that’s over 50 years in tech! But the moment I picked up a camera, something just clicked. I discovered a whole new side of myself, and before long, both portraiture and sports photography had completely stolen my heart.

A Few Highlights

Not long before COVID, I was honored to receive several photography awards in Barbados—an experience that inspired me to invest even more deeply in my craft. In 2019, I joined the Sue Bryce Education platform (now The Portrait System) to study portraiture, and I’ve been hooked ever since!

By January 2023, I earned my Associate accreditation with The Portrait Masters, and by the summer of 2024, I achieved Master status. That same year, I also became an Associate of the ICON Awards, adding another meaningful milestone to my journey. It’s been such a rewarding experience, and receiving international recognition for my work has only fueled my passion for creating images that truly mean something.
