I’m Mike, and if you’ve found your way here, chances are you’re looking for something special. I’m a Master Accredited photographer, now transitioning to Evesham (in the UK), specializing in fine art-style portraits that capture personality, emotion, and connection. Whether you’re looking for an individual portrait, a family session, a senior portrait, or even sports photography, I’ve got you covered.

A Little About Me

I’m 68 years young (even if my body sometimes disagrees!) and happily married to the most wonderful woman. We have two amazing sons, a lovely daughter-in-law, and now two grandsons—Archie (30 months) and little Tristan (10 weeks).

For years, I was based in Barbados, but I’m now making the move back to the UK. Why? Because family means everything to me. With my children and grandchildren here, I want to be present—to watch them grow, share in their milestones, and make the most of the time we have together.

Of course, moving means starting fresh—building new client relationships, finding the right studios and printing partners, and figuring out where I’ll be working from. But I see this as an exciting new chapter, and I know everything will fall into place in time.

Oh, and I’m also a proud dog dad to two rescue pups with big personalities! They’ll be joining me later with my wife once everything is settled.

How I Got Here

My journey into photography wasn’t exactly a straight line. I started my career in IT way back in 1977—that’s over 50 years in tech! But when I picked up a camera, I discovered a whole new side of myself. Photography quickly became my passion, and both portraiture and sports photography stole my heart.

A Few Highlights

Just before COVID, I won several photography awards in Barbados, which pushed me to invest in learning the craft. In 2019, I joined the Sue Bryce Education platform (now The Portrait System) to study portraiture, and I’ve been hooked ever since! By January 2023, I earned my Associate accreditation with The Portrait Masters, and by summer 2024, I reached Master status! It’s been a rewarding journey, and receiving international recognition for my work has only deepened my passion for creating meaningful, lasting images.
