Belated Happy New Year and welcome to the 40 Over 40+ Experience

Though it is belated, I would like to wish everyone a prosperous and healthy year and I hope everyone enjoyed their celebration of choice to welcome in the new year.

Celebrating the strength, wisdom, & the beauty of women 40+

I have recently started marketing a 40 Over 40+ experience for women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and older. This group deserves to be celebrated! They have years of wisdom and experience and they have stories to share. They all have their own story…they are moms, businesswomen, caregivers, travelers, and athletes…the list is endless. They have successes and failures, and they have overcome challenges and they struggle with real day-to-day issues of life.

Most of the women in our lives – our Mums and Grandmums, do not have timeless portraits of themselves (like yourself) because many may have struggled to be vulnerable enough to be photographed and see their own true beauty radiating from it. They are also so used to spending their whole life focused on everyone around them and often feel a sense of guilt when wanting to do something special for themselves. 

I wanted the opportunity to change the narrative and create a community that is supportive of these amazing women over 40! and encourage them to do something for themselves. I thought it was time to celebrate the allure of women over 40 and challenge the assumption that beauty diminishes with age! 

The below picture is of my step-sister-in-law who is well into her 50's. She is beautiful, intelligent, multi-lingual, fun, a mum, confident, strong, and extremely fit. If I had to arm wrestle with her I will be sure to lose. We had a lovely photoshoot when she last visited and I hope to have another one with her this year when she visits again - to celebrate being another year older.
